WHO Campaigns: Connecting the world to combat coronavirus
#SafeHands Challenge
There are many practical steps we can take to protect ourselves and those close to us from #COVID-19.
By following WHO’s advice, your physical and mental health is in #SafeHands.
The campaign has been joined by people from all around the world, including WHO Goodwill ambassadors and footballer Alisson Becker and Natalia Becker, footballer Kylian Mbappe, Rwandan President Paul Kagame, and actress Selena Gomez. We invite you too to join the #SafeHands campaign.
Show us how you and your family and friends are protecting and promoting your health.
WHO invites people all around the world to join in and show how they are following WHO guidance and the right steps to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Hand hygiene is key to keeping ourselves and others protected from coronavirus disease. In order to raise awareness on how to perform hand hygiene properly, WHO is launching the #SafeHands challenge across our social media channels and would like you to take part.
To join the Challenge, show us how you are keeping your hands clean: record the video following the WHO guidance and share it on your social media accounts. Invite your friends to join. If you wish, you can interpret the steps in your own language.
Where to watch:
The WHO #SafeHands Challenge is on: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat.
We look forward to watching your videos. And we will feature the most creative/engaging ones on WHO channels.
Let’s be ready and safe from COVID-19! Let’s beat coronavirus together!
#HealthyAtHome challenge
Around the world more than 3 billion people are staying home to protect their health and that of their families and communities. WHO has launched the #HealthyAtHome challenge to promote the different ways you can look after your physical and mental health during these challenging times.
Let us know what you are doing to look after your physical and mental health.
This could include eating healthily, giving up unhealthy habits like smoking, doing yoga or an online workout, going for a walk or run (if permitted by your local authorities), meditating or playing a game.
Join the challenge and share your #HealthyAtHome video on WHO’s social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat.
#ThanksHealthHeroes
All over the world, health workers are fighting day and night to keep us safe from coronavirus and to provide the essential services we need to keep healthy in other ways.
Many of them face extraordinary challenges. All are achieving extraordinary things.
In this International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, WHO challenges you to tell the world about a nurse or a midwife to whom you are personally grateful.
We thank all the critical care nurses working on COVID-19, and the midwives who deliver our children. Who will you thank?
Please send your short message of support to nurses, midwives and health workers around the world.
